Hosting has real costs. We share how donations support the service, and everyone gets the same free essentials. Donations are always voluntary and never unlock paid-only server advantages.
Keep the fire going
Contributions go toward bare-metal machine leases, IPv4 addresses, backup storage, and network transit.
Claims policy: Progress meters only render when connected to the live ledger endpoint
(GET /api/v1/public/stats) so we never display fabricated financial tallies.

Record a contribution directly to the live community ledger (POST /api/v1/donations).
Transparent operating expenses
- Bare-metal server nodes: Dedicated Linux hosts running containerized game servers and Mumble instances.
- Bandwidth & DDoS mitigation: Low-latency routing for UDP voice packets and game ticks.
- Off-site world backups: Encrypted snapshots so hibernating camps keep their saves safe.
- External payment processing: Handled through standard external donation providers—we do not store payment cards on game infrastructure.
No paid tiers or perks
Whether you donate or not, you get the exact same server templates, slot limits, and control panel features. Donations simply keep the shared campfire lit for everyone.
